Watage's 6 Doors
Born In Paris in 1968, I grew up in the suburbs and I felt quickly the need of being strong. As they were some orientalist objects around me, I began to practice martial art (Qwan khi Dao) as I was fifteen. The family legend of my great-grant-father who was a circus wrestler and a „Parisian” self-defense specialist, pushed me in that direction. I follow the enseignement of Pham Xuan Tong for 6 years and obtained a black belt in 1996. I was happy to win some champion titles like French Champion in 1990 by team and Long Stick, European Champion in 1996. I became a Qwan khi Dao Teacher. I jumped to the very near VietVoDao and obtained a black belt in 2000, same year I became French Champion again. Later, I discovered TaiChiChuan and Yi Chuan. I was very surprised to have spent so many years to learn and to ignore all the tresors of those practices. I had the chance to work with masters like Pham Xuan Tong, Christian Perykaza, Michel Chapuis, Charles Phan Houa, Luo de Xiu, Yang Jun, Alain Montfourmy, J-L Lesueur. At the main time I studyed Shiatsu with Clara Truchot (T.Namikoshi school) since 1988. I founded the association „Shiatsu de la boucle” in Paris. I built up a self-defense methode for old and week peoples called „ Le poing D’âge” in 2006 In 2007, I discovered watsu and Tantsu and followed Harold Dull, Gianni de Stephani, Fabrizio Della Piane, Ateeka, Basia Szpak’s teachings since 2009 when I mooved to Hungary and became a Watsu Practionner in 2012. Now I am combining all this knowledge in one : Watage . Which is like a Pyramide where all the faces are supporting each other. Relaxation, meditation, movement, dance, inside, outside, freedom of creativity and old sciences togeher. Budapest August 2012
